Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 4, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Cathmere Inc ("Cathmere," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on cathmere.com, cqr-asset.com, and cqr-invest.com (together, the "Sites"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1) What cookies are
a) Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They're widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to site owners about how the site is used. "Similar technologies" include pixels, tags, and local storage that perform comparable functions. We refer to all of these together as "cookies" in this policy.
b) Cookies may be session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (which remain until they expire or you delete them). They may be set by us ("first-party") or by a third party whose service we use ("third-party").
2) Why we use cookies
We use cookies to:
a) Make the Sites work and keep them secure (strictly necessary cookies)
b) Remember your preferences and choices, including your cookie choices
c) Understand how visitors find and use the Sites, so we can improve them (analytics)
d) Measure the performance of our communications or campaigns
e) We do not use cookies to sell your personal information.
3) The cookies we use
The Sites are built and hosted on Squarespace, which sets certain cookies that are necessary for the Sites to function and secure, and which may provide built-in analytics. Where we have enabled additional analytics or tools, those set their own cookies. The categories below describe the cookies in use:
a) Strictly necessary cookies — required for the Sites to function (for example, security, load balancing, and remembering your cookie preferences). These cannot be switched off in our systems.
b) Analytics / performance cookies — help us understand how visitors interact with the Sites (for example, which pages are visited and how visitors arrived). For this purpose we use Squarespace Analytics and Google Analytics.
c) Preference / functional cookies — remember choices you make to give you a better experience.
d) Marketing cookies — we do not use marketing cookies.
e) Squarespace cookies – a list of all Squarespace cookies is published here:The cookies Squarespace uses – Squarespace Help Center. It should be noted that this list includes cookies that only apply for sites that include online stores. Our Sites do not have stores, and hence these cookies do not apply.
4) Managing your cookie choices - the easiest way to change your cookie settings is to delete the cache of your browser and go to the website again - the cookie banner will reappear, and you can choose the settings you prefer.
a) Cookie banner. When you first visit the Sites, a banner lets you accept or manage non-essential cookies. You can change your choices at any time by deleting our Sites from your browser’s cache and open the Sites again.
b) Browser controls. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Each browser is different, so check your browser's help menu. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may cause parts of the Sites not to work.
c) Analytics opt-outs. You can opt out of Google Analytics across websites using Google's browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.]
5) Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above.
